In 2012 Red Bull came to BBH LA with an insane challenge: help us launch the first ever National Red Bull Flugtag with dozens of teams competing across five US cities in front of 300k+ spectators — all on one day.

As Head of Strategy & Innovation I led development of a multi-month digital comms, content, and community plan for Red Bull’s largest ever event, resulting in millions of hours of brand engagement.

As a unique force in branded content, Red Bull needed a dedicated home for its live and on-demand coverage of various extreme sports event series.

I led a pitch-winning team of strategists, UX designers, and developers who delivered the award-winning “Signature Series” platform from early MVP to fully featured live streaming and social platform a time when Twitch was still in its infancy.
